Welcome to the home of Cool Librarian

My name is Jessica Langlois, aka Cool Librarian. Currently, I'm a Reference and Young Adult Librarian at Middletown Public Library in Rhode Island, but that could change at any moment. As a side venture, Cool Librarian Research helps small businesses and non-profits with their research, bibliographic, and online needs.

I have several blogs spanning the personal and professional. The Cool Librarian is about my life as a librarian, information technology, and serves as a small directory of librarary-esque "stuff" (formerly known as libraryland). Library Talk is a community blog where librarians (and anyone else) can talk about whatever. My public personal blog is a VOX blog (and if you know your source, you may find others). Add these to the blogs I administer for work, and yeah, I do a lot of blogging.
